Privacy

What we keep

• Your account: email, display name, handle and avatar.
• Your orders, licenses, downloads and refund claims, and, if you sell, your listings, sales and agent keys. Agent keys are stored as hashes; the secret is shown once.
• Files you upload as a creator or attach to a claim.
• Gallery posts and replies, if you use the Gallery.
• The waitlist: your email, whether you want to buy or sell, an optional country and the page you joined from. Only the team can see the list.
• Your IP address: stored with an order when you accept the refund policy at checkout, together with the time and the policy version. The waitlist and Ask Kessance use it only as a one-way hash, to limit abuse.
• Ask Kessance chats. Signed-in members and demo sessions have them saved to the account; signed-out visitors keep them only in this browser. You can delete a saved chat from the history list.

How it is used

To run the marketplace: sign you in, deliver your copy of a work, process refunds, review listings and tell waitlist members when buying opens. We do not sell or share your email, and we do not show ads. Each delivered copy carries marks tied to the order (a copy ID inside the files and a signed license), so a leaked copy can be traced to the license it came from.

Who handles it

• Bolt Cloud (on Netlify) hosts the site and serves every page.
• Supabase hosts the database, sign-in and file storage.
• Ask Kessance sends your message, the recent turns of the chat and the page you are on to Anthropic's Claude models to write the answer. If the model can't be reached, Ask answers from the catalog without a model.
• Stripe handles card details in the demo purchase, in test mode. We never see card numbers, and no real money moves.

Demo sessions

The demo uses an anonymous account of its own. Its orders, chats and posts are marked as demo and kept apart from real accounts.

Cookies and local storage

Only what the site needs: your sign-in session, your theme and sidebar choices, a few dismissed notices, your likes on works and Gallery posts, your Gallery saves and follows, and, if you are signed out, your Ask chats. These stay in this browser. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices

Deleting an account or a waitlist entry is not self-serve yet. Contact details for that request will be published here before real payments open. Until then, you can delete your saved Ask chats yourself, and you can leave the demo any time.
